SINGAPORE PLANTS

Changi Business Park

The first DCS in Singapore has been in commercial operation since June 2000 to provide district cooling service to the 66 hectares landscaped park, which is home to a mixture of high technology business, data and software enterprises, research and development divisions and knowledge intensive facilities.

This DCS is designed to generate a cooling capacity of about 30,000 RT for the entire business park, which translates to meeting the cooling load demand for business space usage of over 1 million square metres of gross floor area, or equivalent to 60 buildings over a total land area of 66 hectares.

To-date, renowned multinationals like IBM, Invensys, Honeywell, Applied Materials, Ultro ,Xilinx, Mapletree, a-reit, Soiilbuild, DBS, Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank are users of our DCS system.

BIOPOLIS@ONE-NORTH

Operating since July 2003, this plant provides cooling services to parts of the one-north development, which covers 200 hectares.

With a design capacity of 25,000 RT (refrigeration tonnes), the plant serves the 7 biomedical buildings in Biopolis Phase 1, which houses A*Star (Agency for Science, Technology and Research), GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Apex International, laboratories and research institutions.

Beyond Biopolis Phase 1, Keppel DHCS customers at one-north include NTU for their Alumni Clubhouse and City Campus, Ascendas for their Neuros building, JTC for Fusionopolis I, Soilbuild for Solaris building and Crescendas for Biopolis III building, and Vista Xchange.

This existing DCS plant is able to integrate with other future satellite DCS plants to provide cooling services to the entire 200 hectares one-north development.

Woodlands Wafer Fab Park

The plant, which commenced commercial operations in July 2006, is our first development in brown field development. With a plant capacity of 11,000 RT, it serves the cooling needs of semiconductor industries.

Due to the unique needs of the Wafer Fab Industry, this plant is equipped with Uninterruptible Power Supply in addition to Thermal Energy Storage Tanks, to ensure that chilled water supply is maintained in the event of a major power failure.

This plant is able to expand to serve the entire 48.5 hectares Woodlands Wafer Fab Park and its vicinity.
